Earned a Black Belt… Then Quit?

THAT’S OK!!! This is your chance to NOT ONLY to get back into training, but also become a better leader and get AWESOME Experience working with students of all ages!

We’re looking for motivated individuals who want to grow, lead, and get back into martial arts in a powerful way.  

This Program Is Perfect For:

• Former martial arts students
• Black belts who stopped training
• Athletes who enjoy discipline and structure
• Students interested in coaching, teaching, or leadership
• Anyone looking to grow in confidence and responsibility

Here are the details:

• Interns will have 1-2 days of classes per week that they will assist with.
• Internship can renew every 6 or 12 months.
• Leadership training and public speaking development is guaranteed
• The intern program is a non-paid position (but could turn into a paid position)
• Interns will be placed at the appropriate, rank for TaeKwonDo, based on their previous training.
• Interns will be brought on and taught the skills to become a Level 1 ULMA Instructor.
• Being hired is not guaranteed and will be based on the effectiveness of the intern as well as class sizes and current staff atmosphere

Conditions/Expectations:

In addition to the items above, here is a list of things that will be expected from interns for those who choose to apply.

• You will be expected to work to grow as a leader, a communicator as well as a martial artist. 
• You will be expected to have a positive attitude
• You will be expected not to gossip or talk negatively about students, instructors, staff, etc. (Of course if you have an issue with someone and need to talk, feel free to come to one of the Mershads)
• While we do not force anyone to participate in prayer, we do expect those who choose not to participate to do so in a respectful way as ULMA is a Christian owned company. 

As an Intern you will receive some incentives for you hard work!
